    Job Summary

    An Automotive Service Technician is responsible for properly diagnosing and repairing vehicles for the Service Department. Additionally, this position should be a good steward of inventory and work to maintain excellent customer loyalty.

    Responsibilities

    Key Responsibilities of the Automotive Technician

    • Excellent verbal communication skills.
    • Good interpersonal skills; able to work well with a wide range of individuals.
    • Ability to stand for long periods of time, occasionally lift parts that weigh up to 70 pounds, frequently lift parts that weigh up to 50 pounds. Be able to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach and feel, have good finger dexterity, ability to perform repetitive motions. Have good talking, hearing, and visual acuity; ability to be exposed to noise, vibration, dust, paint, cleaning solutions and other hazardous and non-hazardous materials.

    Qualifications

    Qualifications of the Automotive Technician

    • Completion of Vocational Program or five years of auto repair experience.
    • Chrysler Certified a strong plus
